Residents of New York City will get the first chance to see the historic 2009 David Lynch Foundation Concert “Change Begins Within.” The concert includes a set from Paul McCartney featuring Ringo Starr! The 90 minute special will premiere on New York’s PBS station WNET-TV on April 29th.

The show, which includes Donovan, Mike Love, Jerry Seinfeld, and Howard Stern, to name a few, originally took place on April 4, 2009, before a sold-out audience at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. The special contains footage of each of the show’s featured acts highlighted by Paul’s set with Ringo. Among the songs Paul performs are the appropriately titled “Cosmically Conscious” and the finale, “I Saw Her Standing There.” Though there is no word on other planned telecasts, sources tell us it will be offered to other affiliates as well, which could potentially bring it to a local PBS station near you!

An incredible exhibit of vinyl albums from around the world with signatures of the four Beatles is now on display in Norway. The exhibit, titled “Get Back – Signed The Beatles,” runs through May 31 and features an amazing collection of authentic Beatles autographs collected on both British and American vinyl LP covers. The collection covers all the albums released by the Beatles from Please Please Me to Let It Be, all with the same thing in common – they are all signed by the four Beatles!

In a related story, a bidding-war for a fully-signed version of the Beatles Please Please Me album is going down on eBay. This past week has already seen bids pushing past $13,000, in just the first few days of the auction.

And lastly a story that might interest some Los Angeles Beatles fans who might be out doing a little house hunting this weekend. The Hollywood Hills structure that inspired George Harrison to write the song “Blue Jay Way” is currently on the market!! The price tag, a reasonable $4.5 million dollars – and it’s all yours!
….and that’s this week in Beatles News!
